Presidential Compensation Payments to Be Introduced for Researchers in Kyrgyzstan
Additional presidential compensation payments will be introduced for employees of scientific and scientific-technical organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The initiative aims to improve the efficiency and quality of research activities, support the country’s scientific potential, and provide financial incentives for employees of research institutions.
According to the resolution, monthly presidential compensation payments will be added to salaries in the following amounts:
- 15,000 soms for administrative-management and core personnel;
- 5,000 soms for technical and junior staff.
The payments will be calculated only for the actual time worked. Employees working part-time will receive compensation proportional to their workload.
It was also clarified that these payments will not be included in the calculation of additional allowances, benefits, or compensation related to work and residence in high-altitude or remote regions.
The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed to include the necessary amendments in the preparation of the republican budget for 2026 and the planned budget period for 2027–2028.
