The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of applications for funding scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative projects within the framework of program-targeted financing for 2027.

The competition covers several priority areas, including healthcare, digital transformation, sustainable energy, green economy, food and biological security, climate change, as well as research related to the history of Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz language.

Special attention will be given to the scientific novelty of projects, their practical value, feasibility of implementation plans, and justification of financial calculations.

According to the competition requirements, proposed project topics must be предварительно discussed at scientific and technical councils of relevant governmental and sectoral bodies. Supporting documents and meeting protocols should be attached to the application.

Applications will be accepted through the electronic document management system from May 18 to June 18, 2026.
