Advanced training course for higher education teachers at OIMU

From April 23 to 26, 2025, Osh International Medical University hosted a professional development course for higher education lecturers under the program: "Shaping the Future Specialist in the University Training System through Modern Professional Education Technologies."

The course was conducted in a blended (in-person and distance) format, with a total duration of 72 hours. Sessions were held daily from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The course was authored and led by Professor Olga Mikhailovna Kolomiets, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Director of the International Institute for Professional Development of Educators, and Professor at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. She is a recognized expert in competence-based and activity-oriented approaches in education.

A total of 60 lecturers participated in the course, representing Osh International Medical University, Osh State University (Medical and International Faculties, and the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication), as well as Jalal-Abad International University. The program aimed to enhance professional competencies, improve teaching methodologies, and integrate modern educational technologies into university practice.

On April 25, participants took part in an off-site event in the city of Jalal-Abad.

The course was organized by Kyyalbek Sherikbaevich Sakibaev, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs.
