On August 28, the Academic Council of the University was held at Osh International Medical University. The meeting brought together leading faculty members and specialists to discuss preparations for the new academic year and to determine the key directions of the faculty’s work.

       During the session, the curriculum for each educational program were thoroughly reviewed. Faculty members exchanged opinions, discussed modern teaching approaches, and proposed improvements to the educational process. As a result, the Academic Council approved the updated study programs for all disciplines, ensuring that students receive high-quality education in line with contemporary medical education standards.

       Special attention was given to optimizing the educational process and improving internal procedures. The council discussed ways to increase the efficiency of classes, implement modern educational technologies, improve student performance monitoring, and enhance the organizational processes of the faculty.

       The Rector and Vice-Rector emphasized the importance of active scientific collaboration with students. They encouraged faculty members to involve students in joint research projects and scientific articles, which not only enriches the educational process but also develops students’ practical skills in scientific work and critical thinking.

       The meeting helped to define the key tasks and priorities of the faculty for the upcoming academic year. Clear goals and coordinated strategies provide a strong foundation for the successful development of the educational process, the activation of scientific activities, and the enhancement of the faculty’s prestige both within the university and in the professional community.
