On May 27, faculty members from Osh International Medical University (OMMU) took part in a professional training seminar titled:
“Scientific Strategy: The Link Between Scopus Publications and QS Rankings”, held at Jannat Resort Hotel in Osh.

            The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to enhance the scientific publication activity of universities and strengthen their positions in international rankings.

          Key topics included:

• Understanding QS World University Rankings metrics;
• Scientific writing for Scopus-indexed journals;
• Literature search tools and manuscript formatting;
• Submission and peer review processes.

         The seminar was led by Dr. Urmat Tynaliev (Ph.D., USA), an expert in Scopus and QS methodology.
