А cross-university scientific and methodological seminar
On May 23, a cross-university scientific and methodological seminar was organized at the base of the Jalal-Abad International Medical University, with the participation of the academic staff from OMMU, the medical faculties of Osh State University, Jalal-Abad State University, and Jalal-Abad Medical University.
The scientific report on the topic "Assessment of physical status in children and adults, considering morphogenic factors in the current conditions of Kyrgyzstan" was presented by the scientific supervisor of the project, PhD, Associate Professor K. Sh. Sakibayev. As part of the seminar, master classes were held on bioimpedanceometry (M. K. Nuruyev, Uulkan Manas kyzy) and bioethics in scientific research (A. T. Argyinbaeva, K. Sh. Sakibayev). It should be noted that under the supervision of K. Sh. Sakibayev, a research project is being conducted on the topic "Assessment of the physical status of children and adults, considering constitutional, ethnic, gender, and age factors in the current conditions of Kyrgyzstan" for the years 2024-2026 (grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, agreement No. 240012 from March 12, 2024). The scientific activity is focused on studying the patterns of dynamics in anthropometric, morphofunctional, and bioimpedanceometric parameters of physical development depending on body type, taking into account gender, age, and ethnic background, with the subsequent development of regional assessment standards.
