OIMU Faculty Members Publish in Prestigious Scientific Collections
Osh International Medical University (OIMU) continues to strengthen its position in the scientific community. Faculty members — Bekzhan Muratov, Nurperi Nurlanova, and Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev, Vice-Rector for Research — have published their scientific articles in highly respected Russian and international collections.
B.A. Muratov and N.N. Nurlanova co-authored an article published in the peer-reviewed journal “Bulletin of Science and Practice” (Vol. 11, No. 5, May 2025). Their work focuses on the prevalence of urological diseases in Osh, prevention strategies, and statistical trends. The article carries practical significance for the regional healthcare system and emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and public health awareness.
K.Sh. Sakibaev, Vice-Rector for Research at OIMU, published two articles in the proceedings of the All-Russian Scientific Conference "The Lymphatic System — From Anatomy to Clinical Practice", hosted by Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko. His publications explore the anatomical and physiological features of the lymphatic system, its clinical significance, and modern approaches to teaching this subject to future medical professionals.
The active participation of OIMU faculty members in international and inter-university scientific publications reflects the university’s high level of research activity, academic mobility, and its aspiration toward integration into the global academic landscape.
OIMU takes pride in its academic staff and continues to support their involvement in professional conferences, symposiums, and publications that contribute to the development of medical science both in Kyrgyzstan and internationally.
