Industrial Practice 2025–2026
The clinical practice of students of the Faculty of Medicine at Osh International Medical University has been successfully completed under the 5-year and 6-year educational programs. The practical training took place at clinical bases in Osh city and was aimed at developing professional skills, clinical thinking, and consolidating students’ theoretical knowledge.
5-year program
Year 1 — “Introductory Educational Practice: Nursing Care” The practice was held from May 4 to May 23, 2026, at Osh City Clinical Hospital in the departments of emergency medical care, physiotherapy, endocrinology, surgery, and outpatient services. 18 students participated. Practice supervisor from OIMU — Absattarov E. Clinic supervisor — Nazirov Ulan. An agreement between OIMU and Osh City Clinical Hospital was signed on March 17, 2026, for a period of 5 years. As a result, all students successfully passed the final oral exam with presentations and practice diaries.
Year 2 — “Nurse Assistant” The practice was held from April 27 to May 16, 2026. 11 students participated. Clinical bases: Osh City Clinical Hospital (ICU), “Salamat” clinic, “Andros” clinic. Supervisor from OIMU — Karimov M.B. Clinic supervisors — Abdurakhmanov Sh.T., Alkanov S.R., Maksimov I.I. All students successfully passed the oral exam with presentations and diaries.
Year 3 — “Paramedic Assistant in Ambulance and Emergency Care” The practice was held from May 4 to May 23, 2026. 8 students participated. Base — Emergency Medicine Center. Agreement signed January 23, 2025, valid for 5 years. Supervisor from OIMU — Sadykova G.Zh. Clinic supervisor — Sultanov M.L. All students successfully completed the practice, passed oral exams, presented their work, and submitted practice diaries.
Year 5 — “Assistant to Family Doctor” The practice was held from May 4 to May 23, 2026. 9 students participated. Clinical bases: FMC No.1, GSV No.4 Osh city. Supervisor from OIMU — Abdumomunova B.T. Clinic supervisor — Akhunbaeva T.R. Agreement signed in 2025, valid for 5 years. All students successfully passed the oral exam with presentations and diaries.
6-year program
Year 2 — “Ward and Procedural Nurse Assistant” The practice was held from April 27 to May 23, 2026. 71 students participated. Clinical bases: Osh City Clinical Hospital (Therapy No.1 and No.2, Infectious Diseases, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and ENT departments), Kyrgyz-Indian Clinic, “Andromed” clinic, “Salamat” clinic. Supervisor from OIMU — Absattarov E.M. Clinic supervisors — Abdurakhmanov Sh.T., Nazirov U.A., Amirova T.S., Mirzakulov D.S., Maksimov I.I. All students successfully passed oral exams, presented their work, and submitted practice diaries.
Year 3 — “Paramedic Assistant in Ambulance and Emergency Care” The practice was held from January 26 to February 14, 2026. 42 students participated. Base — Emergency Medicine Center. Agreement signed January 23, 2025, valid for 5 years. Supervisor from OIMU — Sadykova G.Zh. Clinic supervisor — Sultanov M.L. All students successfully passed oral exams, presented their work, and submitted practice diaries.
Year 4 — “Assistant to a Hospital Doctor” The practice was held from May 4 to May 30, 2026, at the Kyrgyz-Indian Clinic. 14 students participated. Supervisor from OIMU — Karimov M.B. Clinic supervisor — Amirova T.S. All students successfully completed the practice and passed the final assessment.
Year 5 — “Assistant to the Doctor in FMC” The practice was successfully completed by 43 students. Clinical bases: FMC No.1, GSV No.2, GSV No.4 Osh city, “Andromed 2” clinic, “Salamat” clinic. Supervisor from OIMU — Abdumomunova B.T. Clinic supervisors — Khalmurzaev M.M., Akhunbaeva T.R., Meymatkulova G.Sh., Mirzakulov D.S., Maksimov I.I. All students successfully passed oral exams, presented their work, and submitted practice diaries.
Practical training is an important part of the educational process at OIMU, contributing to the development of professional competencies of future doctors, strengthening cooperation between the university and clinical bases, and improving the quality of medical education.
