On May 18, 2026, review lectures on “Surgery” and “Internal Diseases” were held for fifth-year graduating students at Osh International Medical University. The event was organized as part of preparing future doctors for the state final certification and their upcoming professional clinical practice.

During the lectures, the faculty members of the Department of Clinical Disciplines thoroughly discussed the most important and common clinical cases, as well as modern approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of surgical and therapeutic diseases. Special attention was paid to the development of clinical thinking, interpretation of diagnostic data, and medical care algorithms.

The review sessions enabled students to systematize the knowledge they had gained throughout their studies, strengthen essential practical skills, and prepare for their final examinations. The students actively participated in discussions of clinical cases, asked questions, and demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge.

Such educational activities are an important part of the academic process at OIMU and are aimed at improving the quality of medical education in accordance with modern international standards.
