On May 6, 2026, Osh International Medical University welcomed representatives of agencies and organizations working in the fields of medical education, healthcare, and educational management. As part of the visit, the guests were given an introductory tour of the university and its academic and clinical infrastructure.

During the tour, the delegation visited the university’s clinical bases, specialized departments, modern classrooms, and the OSCE Center equipped for practical medical training. The guests were introduced to the organization of the educational process, learning conditions, and opportunities provided to students for developing professional skills.

An official meeting was also held with the Rector of OIMU, Jumayev R.M. During the meeting, the parties discussed the admission and education of international students from India, student adaptation issues, and prospects for further international cooperation in the field of medical education.

The representatives highly appreciated the university’s modern material and technical base, its practice-oriented approach to medical training, and the active development of its international activities. Special attention was paid to improving the quality of medical education, strengthening academic collaboration, and expanding partnerships with foreign organizations.

Such meetings contribute to the expansion of international cooperation, exchange of experience, and strengthening the position of Osh International Medical University as one of the dynamically developing medical universities in the region.
