On March 27, OIMU staff participated in the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Pedagogy: Professional Education and Development”, held at the premises of Kursk State Medical University. According to the program, plenary and thematic sectional sessions were organized. It is worth noting that, along with other co-organizing universities, OIMU also acted as a co-organizer of this conference. The Rector of OIMU, Associate Professor R.M. Dzhumaev, delivered a welcome address to the conference participants. Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev (OIMU), together with Associate Professor T.A. Oleinikova (KSMU), presented a report on the topic “International cooperation as a trend in modern medical and pharmaceutical education” within the thematic section “Modern educational tools and technologies.”

The conference participants emphasized the importance of preserving the fundamental principles of higher medical and pedagogical education, as well as strengthening the cultural approach in the teaching of humanities and social disciplines, which aligns with national interests and the core values of the state.
