A meeting between the rectors of universities in Osh and representatives of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) took place in the small assembly hall of Osh State University. The participants discussed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Mandatory Health Insurance for Foreign Students." The meeting covered topics such as the importance of having health insurance, the responsibility of educational institutions to inform and assist foreign citizens in obtaining insurance policies, and the insurance coverage amount for ethnic Kyrgyz.

MHIF representatives emphasized that health insurance enables students to receive medical services on equal terms with Kyrgyz citizens and provides them with financial protection by reducing treatment costs in emergencies. They highlighted the importance of this issue and committed to strengthening information efforts regarding insurance for foreign nationals. University leaders were urged to support the implementation of this matter.
