Modern Approaches in Morphology: Seminar at OIMU
On April 1, 2026, a professional development seminar was held at Osh International Medical University with the participation of lecturers from Voronezh State Medical University. The event was organized within the framework of the educational program “Morphological Foundations of Diseases: Integration of Anatomy, Histology, and Pathology in Clinical Practice and Medical Education.”
During the seminar, key topics such as quality management systems, modern approaches to histochemistry of connective tissue, and a master class on the Picro Mallory staining method were presented. Participants were also introduced to the basics of immunohistochemistry and discussed clinical cases from the practice of pathologists.
The seminar contributed to improving the professional competencies of faculty members and strengthening international cooperation in medical education.
