On March 14-15, the All-Russian Scientific Conference "The Lymphatic System - from Anatomy to Clinic" was held at the Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Professor G.M. losifov
(15.01.1870 - 24.03.1933). The conference was organized by the Department of Human Normal Anatomy of the VSMU under the auspices of the Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists, and Embryologists.

Speakers from various institutions participated, including the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, the Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology, the Research Institute of Human Morphology named after Acad. A.P.
Avtsyn, the Petrovsky Medical University of the Russian Scientific Center for Surgery, the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov, the Ryazan State Medical University named after Acad. I.P. Pavlov, and the Regional Clinical Hospital of Ryazan. Students of VSMU attended the plenary session.

Staff from Osh International Medical University - Muradov Zh.K., Dzhumaev R.M., Sakibaev K.Sh., Tashmatova N.M., and Dzholdubaev S.Zh. - participated online, presenting 2 reports and 4 articles. Online presentations were also given by lymphology researchers from other universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan, including Ryazan SMU, Siberian SMU (Tomsk), the Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Lymphology - branch of the Federal Research Center Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the RAS, I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the Research Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Southern Branch of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Osh State University.
