OIMU Took Part in the IX International Scientific Conference in Voronezh
On March 17, 2026, representatives of Osh International Medical University took part in the IX International Scientific Conference titled “Clinical and Morphological Aspects of Fundamental and Applied Medical Research”, held at N.N. Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University.
The conference was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scholar and educator, Professor Igor Eduardovich Esaulenko. The event brought together specialists from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan to discuss current issues in modern medicine, morphology, clinical anatomy, and medical education.
Osh International Medical University достойно presented its scientific work at this international forum. On behalf of OIMU, five scientific papers were submitted to the conference, highlighting the university’s active research engagement and academic contribution.
Representing OIMU, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev, delivered a presentation on the topic: “Somatotypological Characteristics of Individuals of the Kyrgyz Population and Anthropometric Markers of Lumbosacral Osteochondrosis.”
Participation in the conference gave OIMU an excellent opportunity to present the results of its scientific work, exchange experience with colleagues from other countries, and contribute to the development of international academic cooperation in medicine.
Such events play an important role in strengthening the university’s scientific potential, expanding professional ties, and promoting OIMU in the international educational and scientific community.
