Meeting of the working group on the results of implementing the recommendations of the AAOPO expert commission
A regular meeting of the working group was held to review the implementation of the recommendations of the AAOPO expert commission. In accordance with the recommendations of Standards 5-8, applications were submitted for the purchase of plastinated anatomical specimens (International Morphological Center, St. Petersburg, Russia), anthropometric tools from KAFA company (Moscow, Russia), and a body composition analyzer ABC-2 MEDASS (NTC MEDASS, Moscow, Russia). Plans are underway to establish a scientific journal of OMMU in cooperation with other universities and scientific research institutes in the region (ZhaMU, Research Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Southern Branch of the NAS KR).
Plans have also been developed to refurbish the simulation room with new equipment, and contact has been established with the company "Zarnitsa" (Kazan, Russia). Notably, a scientific laboratory (center) for auxology and anthropometric standardization of humans is being established at the university.
