On February 25, 2026, Osh International Medical University hosted a guest lecture for 4th-year students within the course “Infectious Diseases” on the topic “HIV Infection.” The lecture was delivered by Satybaldyev M.M., Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of Osh City Hospital and an infectious disease specialist.

During the session, the speaker presented up-to-date clinical cases and analyzed real-life examples from practice, helping students gain a deeper understanding of the diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients with HIV infection. Special attention was paid to clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and the importance of timely detection.
