At OIMU, practical surgery classes are conducted using surgical simulation stations, enabling students to develop hands-on skills and enhance their clinical preparedness.

A dedicated simulation classroom has been established and equipped with modern training resources, including surgical simulation mannequins, a laparoscopic system, and a set of instruments for practicing procedures on simulation materials. In a safe learning environment, students practice suturing, wound care, knot tying, and basic laparoscopic techniques.

This training format helps students build accuracy, confidence, and professional competence before entering clinical practice and also contributes to improved patient safety. OIMU continues to strengthen practice-oriented education and expand its training facilities.
