On February 21, in celebration of International Mother Language Day, Osh International Medical University held an educational hour titled “The Fate of the Mother Tongue is the Fate of the Nation.” The event was organized under the supervision of a Kyrgyz language instructor and aimed to strengthen students’ respect for their native language.

During the session, it was emphasized that a mother tongue is the spiritual heritage, culture, and identity of every nation. Participants were also encouraged to speak their native language correctly and clearly, and to preserve and promote it.

Such educational activities at OIMU contribute to developing students’ cultural awareness, respect for national values, and strengthening the role of the state language in the academic environment.
