On 13 February, Osh International Medical University hosted a methodological seminar at the Resource Center (Talking Club) of the Scientific Electronic Library on “Developing MSQ (multiple choice questions) test items.”

The event was attended by faculty members, as well as the Rector and Vice-Rectors. The seminar featured test blueprints (matrices) and sample items for both fundamental and clinical disciplines, along with discussions on test specifications and alignment with learning outcomes.

Faculty members from the Department of Clinical Disciplines, E. Nishankulova and G. Sadykova, delivered presentations with examples of questions and practical guidance on item construction.

K.Sh. Sakibaev, Vice-Rector for Academic and Research Affairs, Associate Professor and a certified testologist, presented additional examples of test questions and emphasized the importance of implementing these modern assessment methods across all departments, encouraging all instructors to adopt the proposed approaches.

The seminar served as a valuable platform for sharing experience and strengthening unified standards for high-quality and objective knowledge assessment.
