Academic mobility between JaSU and OIMU - new horizons of academic collaboration.
On February 27, 2025, as part of the internal academic mobility program, faculty members and students of Jalal-Abad State University visited Osh International Medical University. Following a ceremonial welcome by the university administration, Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev presented a report on his scientific research titled: "Assessment of the physical status of children and adults considering constitutional, ethnic, gender, and age factors in the modern conditions of Kyrgyzstan." This research project is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic for the years 2024-2026, under Tripartite Agreement No. 240012 dated
March 12, 2024.
The guests also participated in academic sessions, visited the simulation center, and toured the base of the Kyrgyz-Indian Clinic, where they became familiar with the practical aspects of medical education. This visit promoted knowledge exchange and further strengthened cooperation between the two universities. Academic mobility is a program aimed at allowing students and faculty to study or teach at regional, national, or international partner institutions for a cycle, semester, or academic year in order to exchange knowledge and experience. This mobility is one of the key areas of OIMU's international and educational activities.
