OIMU became the founder of a public association of morphologists in Osh
The founding meeting of the public association "Osh Regional Scientific and Medical Society of Morphologists" (ORSMOM) was held at Osh State University, with the approval of the draft Charter.
The main goal is to unite and coordinate the activities of morphologists in the region, improve the educational process in morphological and related disciplines, solve issues in practical medicine, and establish connections with scientific and medical societies in foreign countries. One of the first decisions of ORSMOM was to join the Interregional Public Organization "Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists, and Embryologists" (NMOAGE) of Russia as the "Osh Regional Branch of NMOAGE."
The long-term plans of the association include organizing scientific and practical conferences, congresses, symposiums, seminars, and master classes on thematic and targeted topics, including at the international level. It is worth noting that the Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs of OIMU, Associate Professor K.Sh. Sakibaev, was elected Chairman of the ORSMOM Board.
This event was dedicated to the implementation of the recommendations of the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations (AAOPO) on fulfilling the Minimum Requirements for the Policy of Quality Assurance in Education (STANDARD 1).
