On December 26, 2025, Osh International Medical University hosted the grand opening of its assembly hall after major renovation, combined with a festive New Year celebration.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector and the President of the University, who symbolically cut the ribbon and delivered congratulatory speeches to the staff and students, highlighting the importance of creating a modern and comfortable educational environment.

During the event, certificates were awarded to the best university employees for their contribution to the development of the institution, as well as to students who actively participated in scientific conferences throughout the year and достойно represented the university at national and international levels.

The festive atmosphere was enhanced by student performances, including New Year songs and a fairy-tale costume competition. Representatives of each academic group presented theatrical scenes based on famous fairy tales, using creative decorations and costumes with medical elements.

At the end of the celebration, all students received sweet New Year gifts on behalf of the Rectorate.

The event became a bright conclusion to the year 2025 and a symbol of new opportunities, creative achievements, and future success for the staff and students of OIMU in the coming year 2026.
