On December 17, 2025, Osh International Medical University of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic and Saint Luke Lugansk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by Rector of Osh International Medical University, Ravshanbek Mamadievich Dzhumaev, and Rector of Saint Luke Lugansk State Medical University, Artem Mikhailovich Levchin.

The agreement aims to develop educational, scientific, and clinical cooperation between the two universities and provides for:

• academic exchanges of students and faculty members;

• implementation of joint educational and research programs;

• organization of joint conferences, seminars, and scientific events;

• professional development and exchange of experience among academic staff;

• joint scientific research and publications.

The cooperation will be based on the principles of equality and mutual respect, in compliance with the legislation of both countries.

This agreement opens new opportunities for strengthening international academic ties, expanding research activities, and improving the quality of medical education at Osh International Medical University.
