On December 12, 2025, a round table dedicated to the birthday of the great writer Chingiz Aitmatov — an outstanding representative of world literature, a proponent of humanistic ideas, and a spiritual symbol of the Kyrgyz people — was held at OAEMU.
The round table was attended by Farida Esenovna Alieva, Associate Professor of Osh State University, PhD in Philology, an Aitmatov scholar, and Davlatbek Sharapovich Abdullaev, Associate Professor of Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, PhD in Philology.
During the meeting, participants shared their views on the legacy of the great writer and discussed the educational, philosophical, and cultural significance of his works.
The round table aimed to analyze the relevance of the ideas created by Ch. T. Aitmatov in the modern world and to convey them to the younger generation.
