OIMU registered its own scientific journal “Journal of Human Biology and Clinical Medicine”
On December 8, 2025, Osh International Medical University officially registered a new scientific journal titled “Journal of Human Biology and Clinical Medicine.”
The journal was established jointly with the Research Institute of Biomedical Problems and is intended for publishing scientific papers, research results, and materials from international scientific conferences. The publication will be issued at least twice a year in electronic format and in English. Its distribution covers Kyrgyzstan, as well as near and far abroad countries.
The journal is aimed at strengthening international scientometric presence, promoting OMMU’s scientific research in the global academic community, and attracting foreign authors.
The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Zhanibek Muratov. The Managing Editor is Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Kyialbek Sakibaev.
The founders of the journal are Osh International Medical University and the Research Institute of Biomedical Problems. The publication is funded by the founding institutions and contributing authors.
The establishment of this scientific journal marks an important step in developing the university’s scientific potential, expanding international cooperation, and supporting young researchers.
The editorial policy of the journal aims to ensure inclusion in major international scientometric databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and others.
