OIMU Celebrated the Day of the “Manas” Epic
On December 4, Osh International Medical University held the Day of the “Manas” epic. The event brought together local students as well as students from near and far abroad. Participants prepared a vibrant program: they recited passages from the “Manas” epic, performed national dances, recited poems in Kyrgyz, and presented theatrical scenes depicting the lives of our ancestors.
The celebration was enhanced by students dressed in traditional Kyrgyz national costumes, adding authenticity and cultural richness to the event. The organizer of the program, Kyrgyz language and literature instructor Kayyrgul Osmonova, emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage among youth.
Such events help ensure that the great “Manas” epic is not forgotten and contribute to sharing its significance with other nations.
