Third-year students of Osh International Medical University continue in-depth training in the discipline of “Surgery,” focusing on building essential practical skills.

During the session, students practiced major types of surgical sutures, familiarized themselves with surgical instruments, and learned correct techniques for using scalpels, clamps, and needle holders. The practical part was conducted on mannequins and special plastinators, allowing the learning process to closely resemble real clinical conditions.

Under the guidance of instructors, future doctors applied their theoretical knowledge in practice, strengthened their suturing techniques, and improved their understanding of wound management algorithms. Such training enhances students’ professional competence and confidence in their future clinical practice.
