On November 11, 2025, Osh International Medical University hosted a meeting between students and representatives of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking, Police Lieutenant Colonel Adylbek Egemkulov, and the Head of the No.1 City Police Station of the Sulaiman-Too Police Department, Police Major Akylbek Mamateminov.

The guests provided detailed information about the types of narcotic substances, their harmful effects on human health and mental well-being, as well as the criminal liability prescribed by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic for the illegal circulation and use of narcotics.

At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the importance of such preventive sessions in promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing law violations.
