A women’s council for female students was held at Osh International Medical University, focusing on health, education, and social activity. The main part of the meeting featured a lecture by gynecologist Dr. Nurzat Sultanmakhmudova on “Intimate Hygiene and Modern Methods of Contraception.” The students received comprehensive information about the importance of personal hygiene, modern contraceptive methods, and the prevention of gynecological diseases.

The event was organized by Vice-Rector for Social Projects and the State Language - Аlieva Chynara and Deputy Dean for Educational Work Vilena Abdullaeva and lecturer of the Department of Natural and Humanitarian Disciplines, Dr. Nursat Sultanmakhmudova. They emphasized that such meetings help students gain practical knowledge, increase medical literacy, and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The women’s council served not only as an educational platform but also as a space for open dialogue. Students actively asked questions, shared their experiences, and discussed current issues related to their studies, moral-psychological wellbeing, and social aspects of their lives.

The organizers highlighted that such meetings strengthen the connection between students and the university administration, create a trusting atmosphere, and encourage young women’s initiatives in both academic and social spheres. The council demonstrated that OIMU pays special attention to the comprehensive development of its female students, integrating educational, upbringing, and social aspects of their lives.
