On October 14, 2025, an open lesson on Surgery was held at Osh International Medical University, conducted by Dr. Said Ali Abbas.

     The topic of the lesson was “Blood Transfusion.” During the class, students learned about the indications and contraindications for blood transfusion, the principles of donor–recipient blood matching, as well as potential complications and methods of their prevention.

    The instructor demonstrated practical aspects of the procedure and emphasized the importance of maintaining aseptic and antiseptic conditions during transfusion. Students actively participated in discussions of clinical cases and problem-solving exercises.

    The open lesson was held as part of the Decade of Open Lessons at Osh International Medical University, aimed at improving the quality of education and developing the professional competencies of future doctors.
