Kyrgyz Language Clubs Launched for International Students at OIAMU
At the Osh International Medical University (OIMU), students are actively engaged not only in academic learning but also in various extracurricular activities. One of these initiatives is the Kyrgyz language club, specifically organized for international students.
The primary goal of the club is to help foreign students improve their conversational skills in Kyrgyz, integrate the language into their daily lives and academic environment, and deepen their understanding of the cultural and historical significance of the state language.
Through the club sessions, students learn Kyrgyz vocabulary and grammar, while also practicing real-life communication through dialogues, language games, and practical exercises in an interactive and engaging setting.
These activities provide international students with valuable opportunities to adapt to the local environment, communicate more freely in Kyrgyz, and develop a deeper connection with Kyrgyz culture and society.
The club was initiated and is led by instructors from the lecturer of Kyrgyz Language and Literature, and it has received enthusiastic feedback from participating students. The university administration believes that such initiatives enrich the educational experience of international students and contribute to their cultural integration during their time in Kyrgyzstan.
