A lecturer of Osh International Medical University, Nurzat Sultanmakhmutova, is currently on a working trip to India, actively carrying out career guidance activities and promoting the university at the international level.

She began her work in the сity of Ahmedabad, where she participated in the prestigious White Coat ceremony. During the event, she presented OIMU, spoke about the advantages of studying at the university, the new opportunities available for students, and why Kyrgyzstan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for medical education.

     In addition, Sultanmakhmutova visited a number of educational agencies, introducing their representatives to the university’s activities. In the state of Rajasthan, in the city of Jaipur, she held meetings and consultations with prospective students. These meetings generated great interest, with many students expressing their desire to pursue education at OIMU.

     The work continues in other regions as well. In the state of Haryana, Sultanmakhmutova took part in a podcast recording at the well-known agency Admission Mantra, where she shared information about OshIMU’s academic programs and the conditions for international students. Joint consultations were also held for applicants and their parents. As a result of these discussions, an agreement was reached to send an additional 10 students to OIMU.

      Earlier, she also visited one of the largest educational agencies in India — RMC, which has been working in the field of international education for over 25 years. This was OIMU’s first introduction to this partner, and the new cooperation opens up promising opportunities for attracting students from India.

The trip continues, with further meetings and events planned. These efforts are aimed at strengthening OIMU’s international relations, expanding its network of partners, and attracting talented young people to study in Kyrgyzstan.
