On September 8, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at Osh International Medical University, where important organizational and educational issues were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the University delivered a report presenting the new administrative and staffing structure of OIMU, aimed at optimizing management and improving the efficiency of the educational process. The Rector also announced the lists of members of the Administrative Council and the Academic Council of the University, which marked an important step toward ensuring openness and transparency in the work of the governing bodies.

Special attention at the meeting was given to personnel changes. The Rector introduced the following appointments:

• Dean of the Faculty – candidate of  biological sciences, associate Professor Tashmatova N.M.;

• Deputy Dean for Educational Work – Abdullaeva B.A.;

• Deputy Dean for Practice – Nishankulova E.D.;

• Head of the Department of Natural and Humanitarian Disciplines – candidate of philosophical sciences, associate Professor Yusupova R.O.;

• Head of the Department of Clinical Disciplines – candidate of medical sciences, associate Professor Abdimomunova B.T..

In addition, new deputy heads of departments were appointed.

The Rector emphasized that the approved structure and personnel changes are intended to strengthen the potential of the university, promote the development of scientific and educational activities, and improve the quality of student training.

In conclusion, the university administration expressed confidence that the joint efforts of the academic staff and the administration will create all the necessary conditions for the further growth and strengthening of Osh International Medical University as a modern center of medical education.
