In observance of the International Childhood Cancer Day, an educational and outreach visit will be organized for OMMU students to the Oncology Department of the Osh Interregional Children’s Clinical Hospital.
The purpose of the visit is to increase students’ awareness of childhood cancers, provide moral support to children undergoing inpatient treatment, and become familiar with the department’s work, patient care, and the importance of psychological support.

Programme (brief):

  • Introduction and explanation of the oncology department’s work;

  • Short meeting with doctors/nurses;

  • A small motivational talk to support the children (with full respect for ethics).

Meeting point: Salieva Street, Interregional Children’s Clinical Hospital (OMDKB)
Participants: volunteer students (open to those who wish to join)

Notes:

  • Hospital rules must be strictly followed (silence, cleanliness, order).

  • Photos/videos of children and parents are not allowed without permission.

  • A medical mask and a clean lab coat are required.
