On May 25–26, 2026, the first stage of the Final State Attestation for graduating 5th-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine was held at Osh International Medical University.
The state examinations officially began on May 25. In the presence of students and members of the attestation commission, the Chairman of the Expert Commission, Dilshod Samatovich Mirzakulov, opened the sealed examination tickets containing the questions, officially marking the start of the first stage of the examinations.
The exam was conducted in the format of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) at the university’s modern OSCE Center. During the examination stations, students demonstrated their practical and clinical skills in key disciplines including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and anesthesiology.
Throughout the examination, graduates demonstrated not only theoretical knowledge but also the ability to apply it in practice by analyzing clinical cases, communicating with patients, and making decisions in situations close to real medical practice.
For the students, this stage became an important and responsible step toward their future medical careers. Many graduates noted that the OSCE format allows for an objective assessment of the practical skills and competencies acquired during their years of study.
The university administration highlighted the high level of organization of the examination process and the responsible preparation of the students. The Final State Attestation is an essential part of training future healthcare professionals and reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining modern standards of medical education.
