OIMU Students Participate in International Scientific Conference at Osh State University within the RITA Project
On April 14, 2024, an international scientific conference was held at the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University as part of the Scientific Week, organized within the framework of the RITA project.
The event aimed to develop the scientific potential of students and faculty members, as well as to strengthen international academic cooperation. Representatives of various educational institutions took part in the conference, including students from Osh International Medical University.
The following OIMU students represented the university with distinction, demonstrating a high level of academic preparation. Several of them were awarded 1st and 3rd degree diplomas:
- Rushabh Nayak — 1st degree diploma for the article “Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors: Unleashing the Body’s Defense Against Cancer in India”
- Ronak Mehta — 1st degree diploma for the article “Epilepsy in Kyrgyzstan: Bridging the Urban–Rural Treatment Gap”
- Aafiya Memon — 3rd degree diploma for the article "Hypertension in Teenagers Due to Excessive Intake of Caffeine"

The participation of OIMU students in the international conference was an important step in developing their research skills, exchanging knowledge, and broadening their professional outlook.
