OIMU Introduces Innovative Learning Technologies
Recently, the Osh International Medical University (OMMU) was visited by S.V. Yurchenko, representative of LLC “Razvitie” (Samara, Russia), and Sh.M. Astanov, Dean of JAMU. The guests familiarized themselves with the educational, scientific, and clinical processes at the university and discussed prospects for academic cooperation and experience exchange between the faculty of OMMU and JAMU.
During the visit, S.V. Yurchenko presented the innovative “Pirogov” table. “PIROGOV” is a modern interactive tool for 3D demonstration of the human body on a touchscreen table and computers. It is an effective learning resource suitable for medical universities, faculties, colleges, and professional development centers for doctors. The table allows both group work with a teacher and individual study, and includes an anatomical SD atlas with a unique library of models and anatomical scenes.
The parties agreed to further develop academic mobility, opening new opportunities for experience exchange between the faculty and students of the two universities.
